Below are the current recommendations for printing with the Canon IR 8500 and the IPRO
software.
• In the Batch Print program, select File Print Options PCL High Capacity Printer.
• Click the Setup button to set the tray designations for slip sheeting.
• Use Tray codes below to Set PCL Paper Tray Codes.
Tray 1: 27,38,108,49,72
Tray 2: 27,38,108,52,72
Tray 3: 27,38,108,53,72
Tray 4: 27,38,108,50,48,72
Note: These PCL codes work whether you use the Canon PCL5e driver, HP 8000 or HP 5si driver, the normal HP commands DO NOT work, these codes are needed.
We tested the Canon IR8500 with the Canon PCL5e, HP8000 and the HP 5si drivers and all worked well. However, there were some differences in speeds. The results of the tests are as follows:
• The HP 5si driver was the fastest
• The HP 8000 was next
• The Canon PCL 5e driver was the slowest.
There is a noticeable difference between the speed of the HP drivers and the Canon driver.

The IPro Tech Software Archive
Hello and welcome to The IPro Tech Software Archive. I created this blog to simplify things for myself and for anyone else who is looking for help on IPro. I ever have questions or need answers for a certain task, this is a lot easier for me to search than calling Tech Support or Navigating their Archive.
Archived Items here can be found on their archive and I do not take ANY credit for these Tips that they provide free on their website.
Although I do take credit for the ones I post ;)
