The IPro Tech Software Archive

Hello and welcome to The IPro Tech Software Archive. I created this blog to simplify things for myself and for anyone else who is looking for help on IPro. I ever have questions or need answers for a certain task, this is a lot easier for me to search than calling Tech Support or Navigating their Archive.

Archived Items here can be found on their archive and I do not take ANY credit for these Tips that they provide free on their website.

Although I do take credit for the ones I post ;)

IPROBuild Cross Reference Files

DID YOU KNOW THAT……………………………

When running buildnew on a project, selecting the re-number option will automatically create two cross- reference files. These files will be located in the directory to which the buildnew project was processed.
For example:

• Process the buildnew project to c:\buildnew\

• If the project name assigned is IPROTECH

• There is an IPROTECH directory under the buildnew directory

• Within that directory will be both a *.XFD and *.XFS file.
The *.XFD file tracks the original document image key number in the project and the new number assigned during the output process. An example is shown below.

OLD Keys NEW Keys

MSC-00001,MSC-00001,ABC00001,ABC00001
MSC-00002,MSC-00005,ABC00002,ABC00005
MSC-00006,MSC-00009,ABC00006,ABC00009

The *.XFS file tracks the original image key number in the project and the new number assigned during the output process. An example is shown below.

OLD Key NEW Key

MSC-00001,ABC00001
MSC-00002,ABC00002
MSC-00003,ABC00003
MSC-00004,ABC00004
MSC-00005,ABC00005
MSC-00006,ABC00006
MSC-00007,ABC00007
MSC-00008,ABC00008
