When importing images with Scan-it, you can now use prep sheets and have it recognize them as prep sheets. You will need the latest executable, which you can get at this link http://www.iprocorp.com/downloads/SCANIT1202.zip. Add this new executable to your Scan-it directory and follow the instructions below.
1. Select the Import Image Files Option from the Scan drop down menu
2. Select the include Image Cleanup Processing Options
3. Within the Import Image Cleanup Options window, under the Prep Sheets heading select
“Imported images may include Prep Sheets.”
By following these steps, you will be able to import the prep sheets as a prep sheet instead of an image. Also, please keep in mind that if you have a prep sheet set to a Box and immediately behind it have a prep sheet set to a Document, that the Document prep sheet will overwrite the Box prep sheet.
REMINDER: When importing images you will use one dongle click per image imported.
