The dongle is used to count the number of pages you are authorized to scan and the number of coding records you are authorized to export. For every scanned page or exported coding record, the dongle reduces the available number of dongle clicks until you have reached 0. The dongle attaches to the parallel port on a PC. The printer cable may be attached to the dongle after the dongle is attached to the parallel port. Installation is as follows:
1. In the IPRO Tech system directory, double-click LOADDNGL.EXE. The program copies the dongle’s files to your operating system’s system files area. Once you have run LOADDNGL.EXE, you do not need to run it again for any subsequent dongles you use with the scanner.
2. When a window tells you that this program will copy drivers to your system, click OK to load the dongle drivers.
3. When the completion message appears, click OK.

The IPro Tech Software Archive
Hello and welcome to The IPro Tech Software Archive. I created this blog to simplify things for myself and for anyone else who is looking for help on IPro. I ever have questions or need answers for a certain task, this is a lot easier for me to search than calling Tech Support or Navigating their Archive.
Archived Items here can be found on their archive and I do not take ANY credit for these Tips that they provide free on their website.
Although I do take credit for the ones I post ;)
