During the scanning process you have the ability to set a rotation flag to indicate that the original is in a landscaped orientation.
When you mark the prep sheet rotate left or rotate right, the system assigns a rotate value for that image at commit, which displays in the Premium Viewer with the correct rotation. This will save your IPRO Premium Viewer client from having to click the rotate button for every landscaped page.
Another advantage of using the “rotate” option is when creating an IPRO Publish CD, the images will display with the correct orientation.
This also will help speed up the OCR process, by checking “Use Viewer Rotation” from the Image Rotation Option the program does not waste memory trying to detect the correct rotation of the image. When a search is performed, the image and the highlighted hit will appear in the correct orientation.
