Choose File > System Options to select the directories for the scanned images, indexing data, and exported batches.
Choose File > Project Options to setup and index fields, image numbering, and IPROView link project (optional).
Choose File > Select Scanner Source to select the type of scanner you are using.
Choose Scan > Scan Options to have Scan-IT deskew, despeckle, prevent black borders, and set the auto-rotate for landscaped pages. You also choose the feeder or flat-bed scanning mode. If you are scanning checks, select the check orientation for your scanner/feeder.
